Our June 2026 Fistula Camp brought together women from across Tanzania seeking life-changing treatment for obstetric fistula. The camp welcomed over 90 patients, each with a unique story of hope.
Following thorough assessments by our multidisciplinary team, more than 70 patients successfully underwent fistula repair surgeries. We are delighted to report that the surgeries achieved excellent outcomes, giving women the opportunity to return home with renewed health, confidence and dignity.
Beyond surgical care, patients received compassionate nursing support, counselling and rehabilitation services throughout their recovery. Every woman was treated with the respect and care she deserves as she begins a new chapter in her life.
This camp would not have been possible without the dedication of our staff, partners and generous supporters who continue to make free fistula treatment accessible to women in need.
