Anna is 26 years old. She is married and now has two children. She and her husband work at a factory to make ends meet.
When she became pregnant, Anna had to attend work as usual. Her tasks were difficult, involving many chemicals that sometimes caused her to feel dizzy.
At the factory, Anna worked 12-hour shifts. She grew very tired, especially because she was pregnant.
Anna attended Maternity Africa’s Kivulini Maternity Centre for antenatal care. She believed that the care offered by Maternity Africa would be good, and knew that it would be provided to her completely free of charge.
When the day came for her to give birth, Anna was in pain and traveled to Kivulini Maternity Centre on the back of a motorcycle. She gave birth to a baby boy, and is happy because she was given very good care. She is thankful to all of the Maternity Africa team.
